I ventured to Sunfresh in Westport a few nights ago to pick up a few things. I was in the produce section when a guy walked up to me and said, “Excuse me, do you have any food allergies?”
I thought it was weird, but I told him no, and asked why. He said, “It’s good to know when I take you out to dinner on our first date.”
Pretty bad, huh? So what our some of your favorite bad pick up lines? I know The D will have a few for us :)-

I read somewhere that the Westport Sunfresh is among the best places in KC, statistically speaking, to meet someone of the opposite sex. Apparently, that area and surrounding zip code are loaded with single people.
creepy! presumption is the #1 way to turn any one off (male-to-female, at least; perhaps men like women to talk about how they are going to do such-and-such — yes, of course).
besides, “do you have any food allergies” sounds too hannibal lector-ish …
